This policy explains what BuyTicket24 collects, why it is needed, how it is protected and the choices available to ticket buyers and attendees.
1. Data we collect
We collect buyer and attendee names, phone number, email address, selected ticket categories, order and payment references, ticket and scan activity, support records and limited technical security logs. For Student tickets we also collect institution, student ID number, validity date and a private image or PDF of the student ID.
2. Why we use it
Data is used to verify phone ownership, reserve inventory, process and reconcile payment, issue and recover tickets, deliver SMS or email notices, validate student eligibility, prevent fraud and duplicate entry, provide support, produce organizer attendance records and comply with applicable obligations.
3. Student ID evidence
Student evidence is treated as restricted verification material. It is stored in private access-controlled storage, is not placed in public ticket links, and is available only to authorized operational staff who need it for eligibility review. Do not upload unrelated documents or financial credentials.
4. Service providers
We use specialized providers to operate the service, including Supabase for protected application data and file storage, Vercel for hosting, bKash for payment processing, and BulkSMSBD for OTP and ticket messaging. Each provider receives only the data reasonably required for its function.
5. Retention
Order, payment, audit and attendance records are retained only for operational, security, accounting and legal needs. Student ID evidence is reviewed for the event and deleted or irreversibly anonymized when it is no longer reasonably required for admission disputes, fraud prevention or applicable obligations.
6. Security
We use encrypted network transport, restricted server credentials, role-based administrative access, private storage, one-time codes, payment verification and audit logs. No internet service is risk-free; report a suspected disclosure immediately and never send a bKash PIN or password to BuyTicket24.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal data by contacting support. Some records may need to be retained where payment, safety, dispute or legal requirements apply. Identity verification may be required before a request is fulfilled.
